Horse Sale at MM on Sunday Sept 28

Oaklands Stud will present a draft of racehorses in training for sale at the Magic Millions Complex at the Gold Coast on September 28, 2003.
Oaklands will offer the two-year-olds as agent for some of its clients.

The draft comprises progeny of Fasilyev, Clang, Kenny’s Best Pal, Sequalo and Danasuria.
They are all colts.
The Fasilyev has been listed as lot 71 and has a magnificent pedigree.
As one of the oldest Australian breds sired by the former European champion juvenile, the colt is the seventh live foal of the Sadler’s Wells mare Reem Albaraari, who was placed as a two-year-old in Great Brittain.
Reem Albaraari’s, offspring includes the dual group 1 winning Morshdi, victorious in the Italian Derby and Grosser Pries von Baden as well as a second placings in the historic Irish Derby.
The colt’s grand-dam is the incomparable Habibiti, whose stellar career included victories in the Newmarket July Cup, Kings Stand Stake, Prix de l’Abbaye de Longchamp and the Curragh Moyglare Stud Stakes. Habibiti is also a three-quarter sister to Eight Carat, dam of Octagonal and others.
Lot 22 in the Oaklands draft is a bay or brown colt by Clang from the Tristaplane mare Just A Baby and traces to the 18 times winners Daze and is also related to the Victoria Cup Handicap winner Heave To.
Lot 63 is a chestnut colt by Knowledge from Princess Regal (Vice Regal) and is a direct relation to six winners including Wiggle It, Valiant Regal and Malakite.
A relation to Astrum, a winner eight times in Brisbane, is also on offer as lot 68. He is by Danasuria from Rapid Planet (by Celestial Dancer).
The Australian Guineas winner Kenny’s Best Pal is the sire of lot 101, a bay colt foaled by the multiple winning Tropine Queen, whose family includes the VRC Oaks winner Arctic Star. Tropine Queen has produced four winners.
The Sequalo-Keen To Sparkle (Keen) colt is lot 25. He is a brother or half-brother to five winners and traces to Prince Brighton, the Belmont Newmarket Handicap winner through his third dam.
