ANOTHER win by Gentle Giant has justified his trainer’s high opinion.
Gentle Giant (Ferocity – Decent Girl) has now completed a hat-trick after scoring a dominant win at Doomben on July 17.
He scored by a length in the Gaythorne RSL Handicap (1110m).
“This horse has just continued to step up and improve with every run.” McLachlan said. “He’ll go to the paddock tomorrow and come back an even better horse.”
In form jockey Eddie Wilkinson had Gentle Giant ($8) poised just off the pace and he pounced on Why So Expensive at the 200m and drew away to score by a length.
