Silverton (Ferocity-Jerash-Mukaddamah) scored an impressive all-the-way win at Toowoomba's Clifford Park on January 9, 2010.
Ridden by Adam Best, Silverton, beat 11 other runners in the Southern Cross Automotive QTIS 600 2YO Maiden Plate over 1100 metres.
Silverton, who was unplaced at her only other race start back in September, had won a Clifford Park barrier trial in readiness for her return to the racetrack.
Trained by Mark Webb, the grey filly had drawn out wide but was heavily supported in the betting ring, starting as the $4.40 race favourite.
She won by 2 ½ lengths.
Ferocity's studmate Break The Vault (Redoute's Choice-Lady Giselle-Nureyev) has a starter at Coffs Harbour on January 10.
His daughter Pin (ex Fiercely Maternal-Success Express) has drawn out wide in the North State Finance Maiden over 807 metres.
She is quoted as a $7.00 in pre-race betting.
This is her first race start with no known trial form.
Speaking of Break The Vault he has a filly daughter out of Temple Spirit (Special Dane) scheduled to be auctioned at Magic Millions also on January 10.
She is well related with half-bros Temple Of Boom (3 wins) in great form and grand dame was a multiple winner by Sempalatinsk and traces from Deauville winner Happy. Oldest progeny of the sire are 2YOs.
