FEROCITY BACK IN THE HEADLINES COURTESY OF HIS SONS

NOT only will Oaklands Stud stallion Ferocity have a starter at the races on January 6, but he will have a yearling son auctioned at the first session of the Magic Millions Gold Coast sale.
The Murray Thompson trained Sticksy (Ferocity-Beesem-Strategic) is the topweight with 58 kgs in the Hallco Engineering QTIS 600 2YO Handicap over 1100 metres at the Sunshine Coast.
Sticksy who won at the Sunshine Coast at his first start and then finished second at Doomben on December 19 has drawn barrier one.
He will be ridden by Michael Cahill.
Cahill replaces Ric McMahon and Larry Cassidy who have previously ridden the gelding.
In early pre-race betting Sticksy is quoted as $2.80 favourite.
At the Gold Coast Ferocity will be represented at the first day of the Magic Millions sale through a yearling son.
Offered by Oaklands Stud as Agent lot 99 is out of Brangaine and is from a nice family inc Shaybisc - AJC Sires Produce G1 and dam of 11 winners such as Sashed and also related to Freemason STC BMW and Queensland Derby.
