SUPER QUALITY YEARLINGS BY OAKLANDS STUD STALLIONS AVAILABLE AT MM SALE
NOTF only is Oaklands Stud providing a consignment on behalf of its clients, but other operations will be offering well-bred yearlings sired by some of the stud’s stallions.
When business opens on the two-day March 21 - 22 auction at the Magic Millions sales complex on the Gold Coast next month, Oaklands Stud will be as active as ever. Not only will Oaklands Stud provide a consignment on behalf of its clients, but other operations will offer well related yearlings sired by some of the stud’s stallions. FEROCITY (Lion Hunter-Chiara-Last Tycoon Ire), BREAK THE VAULT (Redoute’s Choice-Lady Giselle-Nureyev USA), ALL BAR ONE (Flying Spur-Max’s Sister-Phone Trick USA) and CHATEAU ISTANA (Grand Lodge USA-Miss Queen-Miswaki) will be represented in the catalogue. There will be 26 yearlings – 17 colts and nine fillies - by FEROCITY, the winner of the Ascot Vale Stakes as a three-year-old and the Adelaide Magic Millions as a juvenile. These well-bred yearlings include lot 201 a half-brother to Group 2 winner Vanquished, half-brother to listed winner Mosstang (lot 115), half-sister to listed winners Red Masque and Wildwood Royal (lot 419), Group 2 winner Klokka is dam of lot 265, Group 3 winner Our Dynamic. ALL BAR ONE, the fleet-footed sprinter once prepared by Gillian Heinrich, will have 12 colts and fillies for sale including lot 236 a half-brother to Group placed Snapshots and dam is Group 1 winner Hold That Smile, a relative G3 placed All Knowledge (lot 152).
CHATEAU ISTANA, which won in England and Hong Kong before arriving in Australia, has five lots (three fillies, two colts) for auction including a half-sister to listed winner Sophia Babe (lot 231) and a half-sister to Group 1 placed Tripitz and related to Ninety Five Seal (lot 210).
BREAK THE VAULT has seven youngsters (four fillies and three colts) up for purchase and interest is sure to be in lot 51 which is related to Group winner Bella Serata and lot 336 which is related to Hong Kong winner Heartline.
